Kick butt while still looking gorgeous? That’s what Jessica Alba was recently seen doing while wearing a pair of HABITUAL Alice Skinny coated jeans in Taj Mahal! Apparently, she wasn’t really fighting, but was at the Bellevarrado Studios for a YouTube commercial shoot in Los Angeles, California. This is not the first time Jessica has been seen in combat and looking glam; she played a spy in her most recent role in Spy Kids 4 and previously Invisible Women in Fantastic Four.

One of our favorite design blogs, Design*Sponge recently confessed of converting into a “pink person” – ditto HABITUAL design team, we have a new favorite color. We are usually drawn towards the neutral and darker tones – nothing over the top girly (which is usually pink), although we do enjoy our very glamorous moments as women. But, you would just never think there’d be a day where we became completely obsessed with Pink, from posies to pigs. There is something about this color that is IN right now and we just can’t get enough of it. Another one of our fave blogs, Bijou and Boheme did an amazing post dedicated to a “wink of pink” and pink and blue. The color combo makes everything look a little more fun and inviting.

Karl Lagerfeld has taken a risk in bringing together Paris and Bombay for the new Chanel Pre-Fall 2012 collection, but it pays off marvelously. Classic Chanel silhouettes meet Indian styling, Parisian fabrics meet intricate Indian detailing, trademark Chanel black and white softens into ebony and ivory. Even the mock dinner table evokes the right mood, with French candelabras alongside bowls of fruit and florals from an Indian palatial feast. That India is most often associated with Britain makes the collection suprising and more modern than ever. It’s hard to believe that Lagerfeld has never been to India.
We’ve also picked up on the Indian influence with new colors for our coated denim, Goa, Tea Leaf, and Taj Mahal, which will be available in January.
