This beautiful watercolor by Georgia O’Keeffe has provided much inspiration for our Spring 2013 line. We love the muted yet rich colors O’Keeffe uses to capture a wonderful snapshot of nature. According to Barbara Lynes, this painting (above) was inspired by the artist’s early visits to York Beach, Maine in the 1920s. Her work is borderline abstract and many of her paintings remind us of the satellite imagery –O’ Keeffe’s paintings and satellite imagery are both looking at nature in abstract,expressing beauty in shape, pattern and color… just from two very different perspectives. Guess who? Clue: we hear he’s collaborating with Lancome on a new beauty line set to come out this summer and we just adore him…
We stumbled across this gorgeous black and white shot by Polish photographer, Andrzej Laskowski. We love the innocence and purity that is captured in this scene. It also makes us hopeful for beautiful things to happen this upcoming winter, which begins this Friday!

Stumbled across this photo of people overlooking the city of Chicago on the 103rd floor of a building. It almost looks like they are floating in the air!
New fashion magazine Twelv recreated Alexander McQueen’s infamous rainbow feather dress for their debut issue, but with 50,000 gummy bears! This dress is not only breathtaking, but also looks incredibly yummy!
