Shopping in LA: 3rd Street & Crescent Heights Blvd.
We’ve done a lot of exploring on the Eastside of LA recently, and now here’s our weekend shopping guide to for some of our favorite spots at 3rd Street and Crescents Heights Blvd.
Start your trip by energizing and indulging yourself at Fonuts (the name says it all). Almost a completely vegan donut shop, they also serve really tasty iced coffee. We recommend trying the chocolate hazelnut (wheat and gluten free) or the salted caramel “fonuts” (for those of you who don’t have any diet restrictions).
Looking to elongate the life of your favorite pair of denim jeans? Just a short trip away on Beverly Blvd., Denim Doctors is a place we go for all of our denim repairs. With an impeccable attention to detail, Denim Doctors uses a combination of their refined tailoring techniques and vintage machinery. They are especially known for their invisible patch repair work.
And if you are ever feeling on the adventurous side or want to make a statement, you will find some seriously talented tattoo artists at Zulu Tattoo. If you have ever wanted a tattoo, this is the best place to go. It’s clean, friendly, spiritual and every single artist is extremely talented with their own unique style. Getting a tattoo, especially the first, can be an awkward process, and they make sure that every customer feels very comfortable.
End your trip at Toast Bakery/Café. After your long day, go here for a great salad or sandwich fix! Seriously, everything on the menu is exactly what you expected, and it’s all totally customizable.
