The movie shares the heartfelt and inspiring story of Herbert Vogel, a postal clerk, and Dorothy Vogel, a librarian, who share a passion for contemporary art and set out to create the most important collection with a very modest income. You’ll be so moved and inspired by their story that you won’t believe it’s actually true!

This fall is the release of the follow up film called, Herb & Dorothy 50X50, which tells the story of the Vogel’s philanthropic gift project – many say the most significant in American art history. We can’t wait to see it!
