News: Fashion Names Team Up for Japan Relief

Fashion and Friends for Japan

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has teamed up with charitybuzz.com to create Fashion & Friends for Japan, an online auction offering one-of-a-kind fashion experiences from several of New York’s biggest designers. All of the proceeds will benefit the Japan Society, a disaster relief fund to aid victims of Japan’s recent earthquake and tsunami. Anyone can bid on packages including a bespoke suit from Tom Ford, an invitation to an upcoming Vera Wang fashion show plus a backstage meet-and-greet, a stay at Diane von Furstenberg’s home in the Bahamas, tickets to the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, a full day Tory Burch experience courtesy of the designer, and much more.

Charitybuzz is a fundraising platform based in Manhattan that specializes in using popculture and technology to benefit non profits. Bidding for the Fashion & Friends for Japan auction is open from now through April 28th. If you have been looking for a killer fashion experience that’s not sold in stores, now is your chance!
