We came across Belgium-based photographer and designer Manon Wethly’s blog Clique Chique and fell in love with her work. One of her series is called “Flying Stuff” where she captures amazing images literally flying. She uses coffee, milk, juice, water and other drinks and pairs it with the background to make sure the colors and form work together. We adore this one called “Milky Way” – the milk and the sky just look too perfect to be real – can you believe that she says most of her photos are captured with her iPhone?
In honor of Earth Day, here’s an amazing satellite image of the earth, which we actually used for inspiration for our Spring 2013 line. The Earth looks like a piece of art — we love the marbled colors and texture. The image of the Great Sandy Desert in Australia.
What are you doing in honor of Earth Day?
